Arkivforum is Sweden's leading forum in archives and information management. Archive Forum is arranged by the Competence Institute. Over 4,500 people have participated in Arkivforum conferences and courses. 

The event was founded by Niko Fastman, who is also the initiator and project manager for the Archive of the Year award.
